photo manipulation

About photo manipulation.

Years ago people didn’t like when photographers changed the sky or elements in the image. So I wonder, what do you think about that? Is it fine if photographer does what he/she wants to do with images that he/she have captured?
Sometimes I use photoshop as best as I can to great the image that I couldn’t take or it wasn’t possible. So far those images have been in my computer hard drive, some I have uploaded to Instagram.
To this webpage I have always uploaded only images that really happened on location. I like that way more.
But this image is not real, I didn’t capture it with single exposure. The house and mountain is from Norway and the night sky is from Estonia. The shooting star and milkyway is real, it did happen in one exposure.

  1. I agree that the manipulation makes a great shot. However, I agree that true shots without the changes are more artistic and show your talents. For me, keep the real.
